Front suspension kit - PRO KIT manufactured by CNC71, dedicated to the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35.
This kit guarantees an increase in steering angle, even up to 68 degrees, changes the characteristic of the Ackermann steering geometry, and allows for a quick adjustment without the necessity of removing previously installed parts.
It fits directly into the factory mounting points of the car’s original suspension. Complies with racing series regulations.
The kit is made from high quality steel and aluminum, and machined on very precise CNC machines. The kit consists of upper and lower control arms, tie rod relocators, steering knuckles with all the necessary accessories, and an installation instruction manual.
Each individual part has been preserved using powder coating or galvanizing. The use of spherical bearings eliminates the need of using rubber bushings, thereby guaranteeing a better steering feel and allowing for more precise reaction input during track driving.
If necessary, all replacement parts are readily available from the inventory of the manufacturer - see below.
For those who would like to adapt the settings to their respective vehicle, the kit comes with outlined parameters and alignment values, which you adjust depending on the Ackermann angle measurements:
- Camber angle: -5 degrees from -4 to -6.5
- Caster angle: 5.1 degrees from 4 to 6
The kit offers 68 degrees of steering angle, with the option of quick adjustment of the Ackermann steering geometry, which ranges from positive to negative, by applying special washers. This allows for the quick adjustment of the driving characteristics of the car, with the goal of adapting them to the driving conditions and preferences of the driver. The kit also comes with an easy-to-set-up steering reduction via asymmetrical bushings.
Additionally, the kit lifts the roll center of the car, thereby reducing the rolling tendency during cornering. The kit allows the wheels to be adjusted in a way that minimizes the deviation of the car from the racing line during cornering and sharp steering input. This is key for keeping the front wheels gripped to the tarmac and predicting the vehicle’s behavior during drifting maneuvers.
The kit was designed to be plug-and-play. The attached installation manual contains all the necessary information to set up the car to the initial position. The kit allocates the necessary space for mounting coilovers, which are also required (for this kit to function properly).
NOTICE:
The kit fits rim sizes ranging from 17” (inches) to 19” (inches), under the condition that the inner diameter of the rim isn’t smaller than 400 mm.
