The configuration of the exhaust manifolds used on turbocharged engines can have a significant effect on the performance of the engine. The turbine casing of the turbocharger has a relatively small throat area in its nozzle section in order to generate a high exhaust gas velocity at the entrance of the turbine wheel. This high entrance velocity is necessary to enable the turbine to generate the power needed to drive the compressor wheel.
This is why choosing our manifold over other brands is the right choice! Our manifold has what we call a "fireing order collector". Which means the collector has the fireing order in order merging into the collector creating a vaccuum effect on the neighbour's runner coming into the turbo eliminating almost all possible back pressure!
You will see a significant turbo spool increase with this configuration!
Also, our manifold is the one prefered by our techs! You can reach the bottom nuts from the front of the engine! No need to cut or order special studs. OEM studs and nuts will work just fine!
The wastegate flange is suited for 44,45 and 46mm v-band wastegates. (Tial, precision, turbosmart, etc.)
The length of the manifold from the cylinder head to the furthest part of it is 9 inches.
